Eucalypts of Narrogin - Art, Science and Story

Wood
Enjoy these examples of the colour, grain and texture of these trees. It can be hard to find pieces of dry dead wood from mallees in particular, as termites and fungi work amazingly fast. Their ravages have often been the cause of branches dropping in the first place. Wind and storm lead to brittle limbs cracking away from their lignotuber, and the cracks offer more opportunities for breakdown.
Our thanks to woodworker, David Bicknell, for these pieces.
